This is supposed to be an autobiography but I’m having trouble writing one. I could pretend I was someone else who talks about me but I find that slighlty weird so Im just going to write and write and see what I end up with.

It’s hard to explain yourself, because it means you have to step back and explain who you really are which odd as I don’t even know who I really am. Confusing as it is I might as well start out with how I came to be who I am.

Age 0 I was born. Jumping forward a little bit to about 4 and a half I began learning the Violin. Jumping forward even more to age 11 dad uncovers the guitar he had got on his 10′th birthday. Later on in the year after learning the chords C, Am and G, I wrote my first song “Pictures”. Funnily enough I was more satisfied with my time that I was able to stay up after my bed time and write the song than the song itself. I still sing the song “Pictures” and find the surreality of the lyrics.

From there I kept writing as I grew up. Mostly I wrote about the things that I am fond of or dislike and the ideas I had in my head. I started gigging to audiences at the age of about 13, playing at campsites, cafe’s and bars and kept meeting new people and enjoying the experience.

Jumping forward again to 17 now at Auckland University doing a Bmus in Popular Music.
